Nik Clark-Hassinger (they/them) is a non-binary filmmaker,

producer, director, and writer who has had a passion for film

and all things creative since they were very young. While

growing up in carnivals and fairs in small towns, Nik’s Filipina

grandmother, Gloria, introduced Nik to film, igniting a lifelong

desire to make visual art. Film was a love language and an unspoken

currency between Nik and their grandmother, an immigrant that

provided much-needed escapism and freedom of expression.
